Yas Akdag is a London-raised, Brooklyn-based alternative-pop artist, songwriter, and producer. Originally a classical pianist and jazz saxophonist, she moved to New York to attend NYU’s prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, where she dedicated herself to crafting songs that detail the intricacies of every-day life with honesty and simplicity.

Combining organic, live instrumentation with a modern flair — and drawing from influences like MUNA and The 1975 — Akdag's debut EP "Home, Anywhere" is out now.
